The Kidde 4MCO is a mains powered carbon monoxide alarm with a non-replaceable sealed lithium backup battery, giving 7 years of continuous protection and peace of mind, even in the event of a mains power failure.
It monitors the air for the presence of carbon monoxide every 15 seconds, and will sound a loud 85dB alarm should any be detected. To combat unauthorised removal of the detector, it is fitted with a tamper-resistant locking device. The test/reset button allows you to verify that the alarm is functioning, and the end-of-life warning ensures that you know when the device requires replacement.
It is BSI certified to BS EN 52091:2010, complies with BS EN 50292 and is CE tested and certified. The manufacturer's warranty period is 6 years.
