Addressable fire alarm sounders and visual devices are devices that produce an audible or visual alarm signal in response to a fire alarm activation on an addressable fire alarm system. Each sounder and visual device is assigned a unique address, for easier identification. Addressable fire alarm sounders and visual devices can be programmed to produce different alarm tones, volumes or beacon flash rates, and some can also be used to provide verbal evacuation instructions in an emergency.
