Self test emergency lights are programmed to carry out scheduled automatic checks on the battery and lamps in each fitting and provide a visual indication via coloured LED lights if there are any faults with the unit. They are designed to assist with the requirements for monthly and annual checking of emergency light fittings to BS5266 and ease the task of manual checks by on-site personnel. Most of our self-test emergency light fittings can still be manually tested where necessary to meet servicing requirements.
