The Firechief Stove Guard is an innovative safety device designed specifically for domestic kitchens with electric cookers fitted. The Stove Guard is comprised of two main parts: a slimline wireless heat sensor and a control unit. The product is designed to monitor the temperature from an electric cooker and cut the power to the appliance if it raises too high, preventing a potential fire.
The slimline heat sensor is connected wirelessly to the control unit. The heat sensor will monitor the cooker temperature from above and will signal the control unit if the temperature gets too high, the control unit will then immediately cut power to the appliance.
The Kitchen Stove Guard monitors and adapts to the users cooking style, while its automatic fault diagnostics constantly analyse the devices function when the hob is in use. An intelligent Heat Sensor Dislocation Alarm prevents use of the cooker if the Stove Guard sensor has been removed.
The Firechief Kitchen Stove Guard must be installed by an electrical professional and can be installed in as little as 15 minutes.
