Espire 10 Year Longlife Battery Optical Smoke Alarm (ES1SL)

The Espire ES1SL is a Grade F1 standalone optical smoke alarm powered by a non-replaceable 10-year sealed 3V lithium battery (CR17450). Certified to EN 14604:2005 + AC:2008, the unit features an photoelectric sensing chamber equipped with internal dust compensation algorithms and an insect mesh barrier to reduce nuisance alarms while maintaining reliable detection of smouldering fires.

Designed for maintenance-free operation over its 10-year service life, the alarm includes automatic self-diagnostic sensor testing, an 85dB sounder at 3 metres, a 10-minute alarm hush function, a 12-hour fault silence option, and a 24-hour post-alarm memory indicator. While the ES1SL does not support hardwired interlinking, wireless RF interlinking across up to 28 devices is supported via the optional ES1RF2 module. The unit mounts onto an anti-tamper lock-in base and is housed in a UV-stabilised, flame-retardant ABS enclosure (Ø132mm x 53mm, UL94-V0 rated).
