Engineered for seamless integration, this sounder connects directly to an Apollo XPERT base (sold separately), ensuring a straightforward and efficient installation process within any compatible fire detection system.
A key feature of the Discovery Base Sounder is its exceptional installation flexibility. It can be used as an integrated base for any Apollo Discovery addressable detector, creating a single-point detector and sounder combination. Alternatively, it can function as a stand-alone sounder device when fitted with an optional cap (available separately in white, red, or black), allowing for strategic placement of audible alarms where a detector is not required.
This device offers advanced, granular control directly from a compatible fire control panel. System managers can implement group, global, or individual device control and benefit from detailed status reporting. Its comprehensive selection of 15 distinct tone pairs and 7 adjustable volume levels are all configured centrally, allowing for precise customisation to suit the acoustic requirements of any environment.
