Ziton Intelligent conventional weatherproof manual call point, green

The Ziton NC-MC-IP-0-G is a green, weatherproof IP67 rated, manual call point (MCP) suitable for outdoor applications. Supplied with a matching weatherproof back box with sealing blanking screws to prevent water ingress into unused cable entry holes, and a sealing cable grommet to similarly protect the cable entry.

The call point offers 1 normally open contact in series with a 0 Ω resistor, as well as a single pole, changeover contact with common, normally open and normally closed connections. It is supplied with a EN54 style resettable element, pluggable connectors for both contacts, a handy wire bridge to help with cable continuity testing, as well as a test key that doubles up as a service tool for disassembly of the device.

Pluggable terminal blocks facilitate the pre-connection of all cables. The terminal block is connected to the MCP. Should continuity testing be needed, the handy wire bridge fits neatly into the terminal block in place of the MCP without having to disconnect any cables.

For service and maintenance, no additional tools other than the test key is needed. Easy front access with a protection cover fitted. The test key is used to remove the front cover of the unit should a frangible element need to be replaced.

Both break glass (frangible elements) and re-settable operating elements may be used. The MCP can be configured as either a break glass or re-settable unit by changing from one element to another. Other than the optional frangible element, no additional parts are required. Other parts and accessories include flip covers, metal test keys and replacement parts.
