The Ziton ZP785KS-N is a red, high quality addressable key switch call point providing a manual means of initiating a fire alarm on ZP addressable fire systems. The key allows for on/off control of equipment such as ventilation systems and overrides, and prevents unauthorised access to the system.
The key switch has 2 positions, with the key being trapped in one position and removable in the other. Changing between these positions require the turn of the key through a 90° angle. It offers 3 electrical connections which come fitted with fly-leads. One of these connections is common while turning the key results in the changeover between the other two.
Installed as part of ZP addressable fire alarm systems, up to 127 devices consisting of detectors, call points and/or interface units may be connected to each of the control panel loops. All loop devices incorporate switch settings enabling them to be assigned a unique address which is polled by the panel every 2 seconds.
