The ZPR868-CM is a mains powered wireless cluster communicator for interfacing Ziton wireless 868 MHz fire alarm devices into a ZP fire alarm system. It enables these wireless devices to be controlled directly from the ZP7 compatible CIE and provides a seamless interface between wireless devices and the CIE.
A cluster communicator comprises of a radio transceiver capable of communicating with up to 31 wireless devices. Each cluster communicator communicates directly to a ZPR868-H hub or, should direct communication not be possible, via another cluster communicator (with up to 4 hops) to the hub. This allows for full meshed networked wireless systems with multiple redundant wireless communication parts as well as longer wireless communication ranges when required on large sites.
