The Ziton ZR4-RL is a wireless remote indicator for use on Ziton 868MHz wireless fire alarm systems. The siting of field devices in confined or concealed spaces often results in the alarm indicator on the device moulding becoming obscured or hidden. In order to show the state of an alarm clearly when installed in areas such as ceiling or floor voids, the ZR4-RL remote LED indicator can be programmed to indicate any alarm in the system and installed in any prominent position. It has a high intensity red LED indicator positioned centrally on its white, round, plastic moulding, together with the standard "house on fire" alarm symbol.
The unit is designed to fit onto its wireless surface mounting base which also houses the batteries and the receiver/transmitter for the wireless interface. An easy to mount, first fix base is included where the orientation for wall mounting is clearly indicated, allowing the unit to always be installed in the correct orientation when wall mounted.
