The Ziton FD310 End-To-End Beam Detector (5 to 120m) is suited to applications where access to ceiling mounted smoke detectors presents practical difficulties. Both the detector heads, Transmitter and Receiver, have thumb-wheels for ease of alignment. The heads have up to 10 degrees of adjustment in both planes. Its laser assisted alignment method means it can be installed by one operator. The low level Controller incorporates an LCD display and easy-to-use interface unit which enables ease of commissioning, testing and maintenance of the beam detection system.
