The Vimpex Fire-Cryer Extinguishing PCB (EP2) is an extinguishing controller that integrates Fire-Cryer sounders with gas suppression systems to deliver voice-enhanced messaging by sensing the voltage & pulsing applied to the 1st and 2nd stage extinguishing panel outputs.

Three stepped voice messages plus 'Hold' message are broadcast:
Option D (Gas Suppression) Standard Message Set - Voice Announcement
1st Stage Message (with strobe, tone 2P) “First stage extinguishant release warning”
2nd Stage Message (with strobe, tone 1P) “Second stage extinguishant release warning”
Gas Release on Hold (no strobe, tone X) “Extinguishant gas release on hold”
Gas Released (with strobe, tone 2C) “Extinguishant released”
