Global Fire VALKYRIE ABI IP65 Addressable Wall Mount Beacon with Isolator (Red) (VALKYRIE-ABI-IP65)

The Global Fire VALKYRIE ABI IP65 is a red wall-mounted Addressable Visual Indicating Device with Isolator and low power consumption. It is specifically designed to be used outdoors. Up to 32 individually addressed beacons can be installed per loop occupying address 94 to 125. The address is set using switches 1 to 5 of the 8 way DIL switch.

When individual address reporting is not required, VALKYRIE ABI IP65 can be configured as a Shadow Beacon. In this case sounders do not occupy an address in the loop thus freeing up addresses for more detection devices. Shadow beacons do not report back to the control panel so their presence on the loop is not monitored. Shadow beacons draw current from the loop (3 mA in alarm) and must be included in loop load calculations.
