The Strident GP12-9FRW is a 12V 9Ah high-rate valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery incorporating Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, engineered specifically for critical standby power applications including high-load fire alarm control panels, un-interruptible power supplies (UPS), and emergency lighting networks. The FR variant features a flame-retardant ABS enclosure, ensuring compliance with stringent fire safety and life safety installation requirements.

Utilising heavy-duty lead plate grids and micro-porous glass mat separators, the maintenance-free battery provides optimal gas recombination efficiency, low self-discharge rates, and high discharge capability under float charge conditions. The low-pressure safety valve regulation system maintains safe internal operating pressure while preventing electrolyte leakage or ambient gas discharge. Built to standard high-capacity 12V casing dimensions (151mm L x 65mm W x 94mm H, 100mm total height including terminals), the unit provides increased Ah capacity within the same footprint as standard 7Ah batteries to extend system backup runtimes.
