The Strident GP12-3.2FR is a 12V 3.2Ah valve-regulated sealed lead-acid (VRLA) battery incorporating Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology, engineered specifically for standby power applications including fire alarm control panels, auxiliary power supply units (PSUs), and security systems. The FR variant features a flame-retardant ABS enclosure, ensuring compliance with fire protection and life safety installation requirements.
Utilising high-purity lead plate grids and micro-porous glass mat separators, the maintenance-free battery provides optimal gas recombination efficiency, exceptionally low self-discharge rates, and high operational reliability under continuous float charging. The low-pressure safety valve system maintains safe internal operating pressure while preventing electrolyte leakage or gas release. Designed in standard 12V 3.2Ah dimensions (134mm L x 67mm W x 61mm H, 67mm total height including terminals), the unit integrates seamlessly into fire panel and standby power enclosures.
