The Signaline FT-88-EN-CT Line Type Heat Detector (Signaline FT-EN) can detect a build-up of heat anywhere along its length. For increased installation speed this Signaline FT-EN linear heat detection is provided with catenary wire which decreases on-site time and increases efficiency.
When any point along the length of the cable reaches a predetermined temperature an alarm is initiated. The cable outer coating is made from a UV and chemical-resistant compound making the cable suitable for even the harshest of environments. Approved for environmental group III – the highest environmental classification.
Signaline FT-EN is approved by UL to EN54 part 28 as a non-resettable line type heat detector. It is low smoke zero halogen.
