Kidde Mains Powered Fire & CO Alarm Control Switch (RTHL)

The Kidde RTHL is a mains-powered Fire & Carbon Monoxide (CO) Alarm Control Switch designed to provide centralised remote testing, silencing, and hazard identification for hardwired Kidde and Firex safety networks. Ideal for installations with high ceilings or restricted physical access, the unit mounts into a standard BS 4662 1-gang wall back box (25mm minimum depth), allowing occupants to manage system functions from a convenient wall-mounted location without reaching elevated ceiling alarms.

Operating on a 230V AC mains supply (50Hz, 19W max), the control switch integrates into existing or new 3-core interlink wiring, supporting up to 24 interconnected Kidde or Firex safety devices across a maximum cabling distance of 300 metres. A single multifunction central push button executes both system test and Hush/Locate routines—silencing non-initiating alarms across the network while isolating the originating hazard. Dual LED status indicators provide immediate visual differentiation between active emergencies, flashing red during fire events and blue upon carbon monoxide detection. Housed in a compact, white ABS enclosure (86mm x 86mm x 10mm protrusion), the switch is CE and UKCA marked and backed by a 10-year warranty.
