The Kidde NC-DPM-B conventional multisensor is a black variant of the NC-DPM-W. It combines photoelectric (optical) detection, fixed temperature and rate-of-rise detection technology. The smoke and heat sensors are integrated to provide a solution to a wide range of applications, allowing detection of more complex fire types. Amongst these are fire types generating black smoke and small particle fires such as those from burning alcohol.
