The Kidde 10Y29 is a compact and versatile optical smoke alarm powered by a sealed-in, tamper-proof lithium battery designed to last the full 10 year lifespan of the alarm. This is backed up by a 10 year manufacturer warranty.
The alarm is easy to install and operate, featuring a combined test and hush button with an intelligent 'low volume' mode which allows a reduced sound output while testing, providing a more acceptable volume for the user.
Using an advanced optical sensor this alarm is ideal for detecting slow smouldering fires and is suitable for use in most locations in the home, particularly living rooms, hallways and bedrooms.
The 10Y29 is BSI certified to BS EN14604:2005, CE certified and suitable for use in systems needing to comply with BS5839-6 : 2019 Grade F1.
