Until now all combined smoke and CO alarms have not been Kitemarked. The 10SCO is the first unit on the market that has been tested and kitemarked to EN50291:1 (For Carbon Monoxide Detection) & EN14604:2005 (For Smoke Alarms) giving you peace of mind.
Spoken Alert
The Kidde 10SCOs other unique features including a clear spoken voice to alert you of the hazard at state whether it be Smoke or Carbon Monoxide detected. The unit also speaks to inform you when it is low on battery (Detector operates at 85db).
The alarm will TELL you which danger has been detected by stating "Fire! Fire!" or "Warning! Carbon Monoxide". This is combined with a loud 85Db alarm which will alert you to the potential danger.

Another ground breaking feature of the Kidde 10SCO is the 10 year manufacturer's warranty. No other combined unit on the market has such a long lifespan.
The Kidde 10SCO operates on 9v PP3 battery & continues to run throughout a power cut, the detector is easy to install and comes supplied with the screws needed.
