GST Short Circuit Loop Isolator

The GSTDC-9503E is a stand alone loop isolator for overload and short circuit protection of GST DI-9000E series addressable fire panel loops. A partial or full short circuit condition on an addressable fire detection loop will adversely affect the functionality of multiple or even all devices connected to that loop. The DC-9503E short circuit isolator prevents complete loop failure by isolating the faulty loop section from the rest of the loop thus ensuring continued operation outside the affected section. Once the fault condition has been cleared, the DC-9503E automatically reconnects the affected section ensuring normal operation for the whole loop. A convenient LED indicator on the unit indicates the presence of an isolated condition, allowing the service engineer to quickly locate the affected loop section.
