Product Details for GST Intelligent Addressable Zone Monitor Unit, needs 24VDC
The GST DI-9319E is an intelligent, digital zone monitoring unit. It communicates with the fire alarm control panel (CIE) via 2 wires using a digital protocol. Designed to connect with a zone of conventional detectors which is translated into one address on the addressable loop. Up to 30 conventional detectors (DC-9000E series or similar) may be connected to the zone. When any device in the zone reports an alarm, the DI-9319E transmits the signal to the CIE generating a standard fire alarm and processes the event accordingly, as for any addressable fire alarm device. A potential free change-over relay on the DI-9319E activates automatically when an alarm is detected from the zone.
