The FireHawk FH250BB is a 230V mains powered optical smoke alarm with replaceable battery back-up (3 x AAA) providing a back-up power supply and ensuring the alarm remains operational in the event of a mains-power failure.
An advanced optical smoke alarm utilising FireHawk's unique X-Profile photoelectric detection chamber, controlled by bespoke software and featuring TSE-Technology (Thermal Stability Enhancement) which is designed to offer an intelligent false alarm rejection rate, reducing nuisance alarms while maximising the detection of actual smoke and fire.
Fast-Fix design simplifies the fixing and wiring of the baseplate to ensure ease of installation and offers an interchangeable base which can also by used by FireHawk mains powered heat alarms.
Equipped with a large central test and silence button enabling ease of use for carrying out weekly alarm tests and silencing the alarm sounder in a false alarm situation.
The FireHawk FH250BB is LPCB certified and approved to BS EN 14604 : 2005 and comes complete with a 6 year manufacturer warranty.
Fast-Fix Design
The new Fast-Fix design on FireHawk mains powered alarms simplifies the fixing and wiring of the baseplate. A new push-fit wiring connection reduces installation time and makes fitting of the alarms fast and secure.
There is a dedicated and discrete entry for surface mounted trunking and mains powered smoke and heat alarms in the FireHawk range share the same mounting base allowing for interchangeability.
