The DorMag SmartSound from Fireco is a wireless sound-activated fire door magnet / holder, designed for holding fire doors open legally and automatically releasing them to close when the fire alarm activates. DorMag SmartSound is ideal for areas with uneven floors and environments which require a more discreet door holder solution.
DorMag SmartSound uses advanced sound recognition technology to more accurately identify the sound of a fire alarm activation and dismiss irrelevant and nuisance noises.
Fast installation with flexible fitting options
DorMag SmartSound is easy to install and operate. Simply mount the DorMag unit to the wall and attach the keeper plate to the door. The DorMag is a battery powered device, allowing for quick and effortless installation with no hard-wiring or long cables required. It can be installed in multiple positions behind the door and its compact design allows for a discreet retrofit solution.
The DorMag SmartSound can be fitted to most internal doors, even glass, up to power size 5.
