The Fireco Dorgard SmartSound (Black) is designed to hold open fire doors legally at any angle and automatically release them when the fire alarm sounds. Advanced sound recognition technology cancels out ambient sound and irrelevant noises for more accurate operation. The Dorgard SmartSound is completely wireless and battery-operated allowing for a fast and simple installation with no hard-wiring required.
What is SmartSound?
Dorgard SmartSound uses sound recognition and noise-filtering technology to filter out irrelevant sounds such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners and other common background noises to ensure that the Dorgard will only release when the fire alarm is activated.
