The HW1-PF-T is a heat alarm that has been designed to detect an increase in temperature rather than smoke using a Thermistor Heat Sensor and ensures a secure and speedy connection of the alarm to the base unit with an easy to install Push2Fit base.
62% of accidental fires happen in the kitchen which makes the HW1-PF-T suitable for areas such as these as well as other areas not generally recommended for traditional smoke alarms, such as attics, boiler rooms, laundry rooms, kitchens, lofts and garages. Its large central test button makes weekly testing easy for those who are less able.
Hardwired & Wireless Interconnection
The HW1-PF-T can hardwire interconnect with up to 12 , Heat (HW1) & units ensuring that when one device sounds, all other connected devices will sound.
This device can also connect wirelessly with the and include up to 50 alarms on a single network with automatic ID coding. The alarms are extremely simple to link, taking approximately 5 minutes to link each device.
