The Espire ES1RB is a 230V mains-powered relay base designed to expand the integration capabilities of compatible Espire hardwired fire and safety alarms. Operating on an auxiliary mains supply, the unit provides a volt-free relay output (changeover contacts rated 230V AC / 8A) that triggers upon alarm activation, allowing domestic alarm networks to interface directly with third-party systems such as access control, shut-off valves, ward-call systems, or auxiliary visual beacons.
Featuring an internal sealed rechargeable battery backup, the base maintains system connectivity and switching functionality during primary power failures. The low-profile housing is designed for surface mounting with convenient knockout cable entry points and terminal connections for fast wiring integration.
