Espire Mains Powered Alarm Remote Control Switch (ES1REMV)

The Espire ES1REMV is a 230V mains-powered wall control switch designed for centralised management of hardwired Espire fire and safety alarm networks. Designed to mount directly into a standard UK single-gang backbox (86mm x 86mm footprint), the wall unit provides accessible system control from light-switch height, eliminating the need to manually reach ceiling-mounted detectors for routine maintenance or false alarm management.

Featuring a 3-button front interface, the switch provides dedicated Test, Hush, and Locate controls across the interlinked network. Operating on a 230V AC supply with 0.2W standby power consumption, the unit wires directly into the hardwired interconnect line, supporting networks of up to 28 compatible devices over a maximum cabling distance of 300 metres. Manufactured from white urea formaldehyde, the plate is compliant with BS EN 60730-1, BS EN IEC 61000-6-1, and BS EN IEC 61000-6-3 standards.
