Product Details for Commander 6 Litre Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher (WCEX6)

Install a wet chemical fire extinguisher in areas at risk of cooking fat or oil-based fires (Class F fires). A highly durable product, it’s made from corrosion-resistant steel and has a tough internal lining. The six-litre model from Commander has been designed to provide a hygienic ‘easy clean’ solution to meet the demands of larger commercial kitchen environments. It has a fire rating of 13A 75F.

This type of fire extinguisher works by creating a layer of foam on the burning oil or fat, stopping the supply of oxygen so the fire isn’t fuelled any further.
