The C-TEC EVC302S is a Type B disabled refuge outstation with an attractive design that features a high-quality, brushed stainless steel finish. This outstation is compatible with C-TEC’s SigTEL emergency voice communication system, enabling individuals in a disabled refuge area to communicate easily with a SigTEL Master Controller at the touch of a button, and vice versa.
The duplex speech system ensures that audio is crystal clear, and the device comes equipped with a range of features such as a 'Push to Call or Answer' button, a 'Call in Progress' LED, buzzer, microphone and loudspeaker. Furthermore, it includes connections for an optional induction loop system and a general-purpose open collector output that closes upon activation.
When installed correctly, the EVC302S meets and exceeds the requirements of BS 5839-9.
