Product Details for BRK 760MBX Thermally Enhanced Optical Smoke Alarm
BRK's 760MBX is a mains powered smoke alarm with a thermally enhanced optical sensor for fast detection of all fire types. It has a 9V alkaline battery back-up and is supplied with a PUSH-FIT docking base.
The optical sensing technology constantly monitors for any changes in temperatures alongside the presence of smoke particles and if a specific rise is detected then the alarm will sound. These types of alarms have high sensitivity to large particles in the air and are not triggered by smaller particles, such as cooking fumes, so are less likely to trigger a nuisance alarm.
This product can hard-wire interlink with up to 12 compatible units. It is suitable for use as part of a BS5839:6 Grade D2 system.
