The AirSense Remote Display Unit (RDU) is a LED bargraph repeater and status display, which is used to remotely mimic the status of a Stratos ASD. It comes in 19” rack format, that allow for multiple units to be mounted next to each other in a 19" rack, or individually with the support of the 9-30817 housing.
The RDU is connected onto the SenseNET bus which provide the data flow between the unit and the ASD. A bank of switches selects the detector whose display is to be repeated. The unit is powered from a 24V DC nominal power supply.
The RDU provide by way of LED's basic ok and faults indication, 4 alarm levels, and a bargraph display which show the level of obscuration. The RDU can also be expanded with a relay card (9-30803) which provide relay output for the 4 alarms flags and fault indication.
