AirSense Modulaser detector module
The AirSense Detector Module is a fully self-contained unit, which aspirates sampled air from the protected area, analyses it and, based on ClassiFire, determines whether a pre-alarm or alarm should be raised. If an alarm condition or fault condition occurs, the unit activates the corresponding local relay output, subject to programming. The alarm or fault condition would be simultaneously reported to the Display Module to which the Detector Module is connected.
Due to the modular nature of the ModuLaser, maintenance (e.g. routine filter replacement) can be done on a module-by-module basis rather than a complete system. This reduces the risk to an unprotected area during maintenance, as only one sampling pipe (protected zone) would be affected at a time.
