Honeywell XS100T 10 Year Thermal Smoke Alarm

The XS100T is a multi-criteria smoke alarm which combines both an optical and thermal sensor to offer superior performance, fast detection of multiple fire types (fast flaming and slow smoldering) and improved resilience to false alarms.

The signals from the optical and thermal sensors are combined using an intelligent algorithm to improve reaction speed while reducing the risk of false alarms. As the thermal sensor detects an increase in temperature around the alarm this will then increase the sensitivity of the optical sensor which registers smoke particles and an alarm condition is triggered once the combined signals reach the set threshold.

Complete with a sealed longlife lithium battery (10 year life) and a 10 year manufacturer warranty, the XS100T Thermally Enhanced Optical Smoke Alarm is designed to offer ultimate performance and reliability throughout the alarm life with minimal maintenance required from the user.

Optional Wireless Interconnection

Using the XW100 Plug in Module any X-Series alarm (including the XS100T-EN) can be wireless interconnected to any other X-Series alarm (whether that be Smoke, Heat & Carbon Monoxide) allowing you to create a system (maximum of 32 devices) for your home. A separate wireless module is required for each alarm to interlink them.
