Smoke and Fire often can cause confusion and panic and it is easy to become lost or disorientated hence why the correct signage is so important. Fire Exit Running Man signs are designed to highlight building evacuation routes in a property. Where ever a building occupant is in a property they should be able to see a running man sign that will then indicate the closest escape route.
