Product Details for Ziton Software FiRe Server
The Ziton 2010-2 fire panels allow external connections via an SDK (Software Development Kit) as well as connections from mobile devices like iPhone, iPad, Android & Windows phones. The communication between the panel and the mobile devices is provided by the FiRe application server, which allows: setting up users, configuring panel features, deals with authentication and can act as a firewall for the connected clients. The communication between the FiRe server and mobile application is based on a modern RESTless/REST (REpresentational State Transfer) interface. The provided mobile application allows the basic functionality of checking system status and basic control.
The additional features such as OMWT (One Man Walk Test) and output tests streamline the installation and maintenance process. The application is activated by use of a USB dongle, to be installed on the server running the FiRe server application.
