Firechief Three Storey Fire Escape Ladder - 7.3m (FEL730)

The Firechief Three Storey Fire Escape Ladder (FEL730) is a 7.3m portable ladder with a tangle-free design for quick deployment and ease of use in an emergency.

Important Information

The length of this ladder is 7.30m and is suitable for 3 storey properties, and 2 storey properties with a dormer window. When extended from the window, the bottom step of the ladder must be close enough to the ground to allow for a safe escape. Do not use this ladder from heights greater than 7.65m as injury could result.

These measurements are for your guidance only, and you must ensure that they suit your application.

The window to which the ladder is attached must be able to support the load of persons using the ladder for escape. The escape window must not be obstructed or covered with grilles or bars. The window must open fully for escape. Check for and avoid outside obstacles such as electricity or telephone wires and fences etc.

Planning for Emergency Escape

Prepare an escape plan and practice it. The plan should include a minimum of two means of escape from each room (door and window) and the nomination of a meeting place outside of your residence.
