Alarms Suitable for Scottish Regulations
The new law in Scotland requires all homes (owned or rented) to have interlinked Smoke and Heat alarms installed by February 2022. Where there is a carbon-fuelled appliance (such as boilers, fires and heaters) or a flue, then a Carbon Monoxide alarm is also required.
The below selection of alarm ranges are all suitable to meet the new Scotland Regulations which take effect from February 2022:
Whether you require hardwired, battery or wireless domestic alarm products, the Specification range with Smart RF from FireAngel offers a solution to suit each and every installation.
By simply fitting a Smart RF Module to any 'Smart RF Ready' FireAngel product, you can create a wireless network of up to 50 devices. Each device must have a Smart RF Module installed or must already be a wireless enabled product. Once connected each interlinked alarm communicates continuously across a meshed network to monitor for fire or carbon monoxide (CO). When smoke, heat or carbon monoxide is detected, the Smart RF modules will signal each other to create a fast response alert throughout the property.
