Unlike some retailers, all our fire extinguishers are ready to use. Being fully serviced to BS 5306 for one year and include a free wall bracket. Thus saving you the annual service visit cost hidden in many retailers small print.

What Type of Fire Extinguisher Do I Require?

There are varying classes of fires, and different extinguishers are requried for each type of fire, so it depends on your building requirements. Not all extinguishers are suitable for use on all types of fire so it is vital that you choose the correct fire extinguishers for the potential hazards in your premises. The type of extinguishers you require will be highlighted in your fire risk assessment. Please see our below guidelines:

Class A Fires (wood,paper,material, cloth etc):

Water Extinguishers, AFFF Foam Extinguishers, ABC Powder Fire Extinguishers, Wet Chemical Extinguishers

Class B Fires (Flammable liquids: spirits, diesel, petrol etc):

Class C Fires (Flammable Gas):

Class D (Flammable Metals):

Fire Blankets:

Fire blankets are designed to smother a fire and cut off the oxygen supply so the fire is suppressed. They are designed to be used on Chip Pan Fires, Deep Fat Fires, Waste Bin Fires and are suitable for wrapping around someone whose clothes are burning.
